Yahoo : Munster hospital security guard killed by friendly fire during patient attack; patient also killed

Ryan Askew was a retired Lake County (Ind.) Sheriff's Police Officer. He was shot while trying to break up a physical altercation between a psychiatric patient and a nurse, authorities said.
